Directions
To get to the Isle of Eigg, you can catch a ferry from Mallaig. Caledonian Macbrayne operates the Small Isles ferry service to Eigg, Muck, Rum and Canna all year round.
CalMac Summer Timetable runs from late March until the end of October running from Mallaig to Eigg every day except Wednesday. You can see the full timetable here. It’s notoriously difficult to read!!!
The day before and the morning of travel to Eigg, please check CalMac’s Service Status in case there have been any changes.
Additionally, during the summer months from the beginning of April until end of September there is a summer passenger ferry from Arisaig to Eigg. This runs twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday during April and September and 5 days a week (not Tuesdays or Sundays)from beginning of May until end of August. This ferry is operated by Arisaig Marine.
