We are located in the An Laimhrig building (gaelic for safe anchorage),  that also houses the island shop, craftshop and public toilets (open 24hrs) that include shower facilities.

The Isle of Eigg is the second largest of the Small Isles with an area of around 12 square miles and lies approximately an hours sail form the mainland. One of the Inner Hebrides, Eigg Is dominated by An Sgurr the largest pitchstone ridge in Britain that gives the island its unique appearance.View of An Sgurr from the end of the New Pier

The main settlement of Eigg is Cleadale situated on the north west of the island overlooking the mountains of Rum. Here you will find the beautiful beaches of Laig Bay and The Singing Sands.

Eigg is steeped in history and folklore. Present day Eigg is an ideal getaway from the stresses of city life. Whether visiting for the day, staying here on holiday or just stopping in on your boat on the way past, Eigg offers a wide variety of things to do.
